Types Of Study Booths:
Study booths come in two main designs: single-sided or double-sided units, with single-sided booths allowing you to configure the study carrels against a wall, while the double-sided study booths allow you to have users working back to back in the middle of a room, with a central dividing panel between each unit for privacy. Using a mix of both single and double-sided study pods you are able to safely maximise the number of users you can accomodate within the space you have. We advise that you are careful to measure the space(s) you have before ordering study carrels or booths, to ensure they will fit, but if you need any assistance with what to buy please contact our office.
We also supply study booths with screens for multiple users, which come as an independent island with a fixed number of users (eg. 4-person study booth, 8-person study booth, etc..), and includes a fixed drawer unit with each desk position. These units are found in educational settings, but are also often used in offices as call-centre desking, in NHS administration, and other public sector workplaces.
An alternative to the individual study booths are
meeting booths, or office pods, which are upholstered seating units with enclosed sides for acoustic protection, and for privacy, helping to facilitate meetings or provide breakout areas in office environments.
